You are so lucky, or were you inspired?
Mar 11, 2021Carrying on from the last blog and episode 20 of the SLOW DOWN Live Deeply podcast....
When I had my beautiful yoga studio, I can remember people saying to me all the time, you're so lucky to have a yoga studio.
It wasn’t that easy. It didn’t just come to me, it was scary at the beginning. I can remember needing investment from my husband. I can remember people around me saying, Oh, but what you do works now, coming from a place of care for me, wanting me to be safe, but my soul craved the risk.
My yoga teacher, trainer, Carolyn Clark and amazing, when I expressed all these doubts that were my own and from hose around me, she simply said, Karen, build it and they will come.
So, I took a risk, I worked hard, I dedicated myself , nothing just happens and nothing just fizzles out.
You could start something, and at points it could not be doing so well, so you start to pedal back, or freeze, stop the action, stop expending the energy to drive your passion project forward. The good old freeze mode. I have heard beautiful souls saying about various things… it fizzled out.
When you look, you see that the actions, the inspiration stopped, this was a choice that was made. They weren't inspiring themselves.
We all have infinite possibility inside of us. We are all limitless. The only thing limiting us is our mind programmed by our beliefs.
I started to delve into my head a little deeper, and asked myself, why am I different to anybody else? What makes me so special that I can't do things? Am I like a one-off or unique, special creation that just can't do things. Then I laughed at myself. I'm no different to anybody else. We all start with the same. It is our actions and mindset and belief that affects what we create. So when I say, get over myself regularly, it's this, it's these little moments.
I really, really hope that this serves somebody today.
You are full of infinite possibilities. There is always a way, we just have to open the vision to see the way and to decide and have clarity on what we really want to do.
If we don't have clarity, there's no aligned action.
So before I do anything or commit to anything, I sit and I think, why do I want to do this? If it's to serve other people or to help other people have a result, why do they need it? Where do they want to go to, and will this light me up? I won't do anything now that makes that doesn't. I don't enjoy. See you won't see me working on Friday nights anymore!
When you decide where you want to go, you can relate it to anything personal or business, because it is the same, whether you work for someone or whether you have your own business or whether you're at home managing your house, which is so needed. The mindset comes in to everything. There is no difference. If we work on all of this, everything feels better.
Sending lots of inspired love K xxx
